Past Events

Folk melas, cultural programmes, workshops, plays, seminars, art installations, heritage festivals and concerts have been an integral part of banglanatak?s endeavour to promote art as a sustainable livelihood generating option for folk artists .These programmes have found a distinct diaspora of audiences all over India and has also transcended the boundaries of the nation to travel across the seas . The cross cultural exchanges has given birth to new sounds, new ideas and new productions. Banglanatak has in the process become a brand identity to promote folk culture in its authenticity and not only build lost identities but also make that identity distinct enough for the world to acknowledge.
