We train Anganwadi workers,
grass-root health and literacy workers, sanitation and
SHG motivators, SHG members, members of community based
organizations like Village Education and Health Committees,
Eco-development Committees, youth clubs etc on effective
communication techniques. |

| ANMs,
Anganwadi Sahayika and Sevikas , local NGOs and
other health workers in East and West Singhbhum,
Bokaro, Saraikela-Kharsawa districts of Jharkhand
were trained in effective health communication. |

Using theatre
games and exercises Project Supervisors, Animators, Field
workers, Self Help Group leaders associated with church
partners of CRS at Raiganj, Kolkata, Krishnanagar and
Baruipur were trained in planning BCC initiatives and
using learning conversation and effective community mobilisation
techniques. |

Workshops
were held in Jute service centres and Jute Raw Material
Banks in Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur, Bhopal, Raipur, Krishnanagar,
Siliguri, Bardhaman, Tamluk, Chinsura, Kishanganj, Routa
to build awareness on the need for effective communication
to promote demand for diversified jute products and mobilise
local artisans, youth and women to get involved in this
remunerative sector. |

Workshops
were held in Bardhaman, Purulia, Cooch Behar with Panchayat
members, sanitation motivators, sanitary mart representatives
on the need for effective communication to improve sanitation
coverage. A key goal was to develop local leadership in
mobilising behaviour change. |
