  We have undertaken projects on HIV sensitisation, advocacy initiatives for building healthy communities, capacity building and training interventions for strengthening mass as well as inter personal communication at grassroots.

Capacity building in HIV/AIDS and health communication using culture and entertainment based tools ASHA in Rajasthan (as part of capacity building for NRHM and CHARCA), Anganwadi workers, health workers in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Rajasthan (supported by GoWB, GoJ, GoR), inter person communicators at six ports across the country (Project Operation Light House), outreach workers of NGOs like LEPRA in Bhubaneswar, AIWC in Amritsar (supported by HIV Alliance),Astitva Sansthan at Udaipur (supported by UNFPA) , PSI,Hyderabad (2005-2006), YMCA,Nagpur (2008)

Mainstreaming health communication Mobilising networking of multiple stakeholders like PRI, local administration, local NGOs and grass root workers from diverse sectors/verticals (sanitation, health, HIV. Family planning) (NRHM & CHARCA at Udaipur)
Mobilising community led action and advocacy to stop spread of HIV/AIDS Slum women at Amritsar and Bhubaneswar (supported by HIV/Alliance), Youths and adolescents at Kishanganj and Udaipur (Project CHARCA)
Advocacy to mainstream HIV/AIDS communication among health and tourism stakeholders. Tourism stakeholders (Taxi drivers, auto-rickshaw drivers, Tourist guides, Hoteliers, Shopkeepers, Tourist police) in Udaipur came forward to facilitate building risk perception among tourism workers, improve access to condoms, put up posters and handouts to create awareness among tourists etc. Realizing the urgency of taking action on the issue, courses on HIV/AIDS are being included in introductory and refresher courses for tourist guides, youth working in Hotels etc. (supported by UNFPA)
