Sufi Sutra, the intermingling of cultural diversity through the sound of music, is an annual celebration in the city of Kolkata for the last five years. Last year the festival was organized at Patna. This year it travelled to Goa.

CamEra is an innovative initiative of banglanatak dot com to engage youth to heritage, thr​o​ugh  photography and also to reach out to common man by holding public place exhibition.  The initiative was launched in Kolkata and the travelled to Bhubanewsar and Goa in 2014. The second edition in Kolkata took place from Dec 2014 - Mar 2015.​

​​This year CamEra focuse​d on highlighting the Heritage Villages of Bengal. Young photographers visited villages practicing Terracotta, Chau, Sitalpati, Wooden Mask, Wooden Doll, Dokra, Patachitra etc and explored the life of the artisans, their skill, their products and captured the experience through their lenses. On Jan 9-11, 21 photographers exhibited photographs on heritages of Bengal at various public places and then at Gallery Gold on Mar 26-28.

​CamEra is currently participating in celebrations to commemorate the 45th year of Earth Day on Apr 22, 2015, ​through "Green Angle: When Photography looks at Environment" to generate awareness on Climate Change / Environmental issues using Photography across Kolkata, Asansol, Patna, Jamshedpur, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and  Jaipur​. ​

Green Angle aims at generating awareness and mobilizing citizen action for environmet preservation by capturing and highlighting the green initiatives of the city through engaging youth and nurturing their passion and skill in photography. Senior reputed environment photographers will mentor the youth for them to be able to capture photostories on the theme​, in their city​,​ which will be exhibited through gallery based exhibition to reach out to more people​.

We launched MusiCal to strengthen non-film non-classical forms of music, including contemporary urban acoustic music. We feel with a little support in this sector, a huge talent pool will get the desired oxygen, will safeguard a treasury of resources, will open up a new window to the world and will show a path to the aspiration of young India.
